"The Amiga is About Choice" - Kermit Woodall, Nova Design

The new direction that Amiga, Inc. is taking the Amiga in is completely in the same philosophy that attracted Nova Design's people to the Amiga to begin with. It's not merely cutting edge - it's far beyond the bleeding edge of computing technology.

Yet the Amiga has always been about more than just the technology. It's not just the nuts, bolts, wires and chips that make up the machine. What it is about is a computer and operating system that lets you do what you want without a lot of muss and fuss. You click and it does.

The Amiga is also about choice. People don't want a single standard. If that were true then video wouldn't be moving beyond VHS to SVHS, to 8mm, to Hi-8, to DVD and beyond. Kids today would still be buying 45s and LPs of their favorite bands and the laserdisc and cassette would never have arrived. This same desire for choice is obvious in the computer market as well. Despite past hardships the Amiga survives.

Linux, a freely available OS created by and for it's users, is gaining corporate acceptance of all things! Mainstream consumers are tired of the sameness of the current solutions and so, the time is right for the Amiga to return. Right now.
